A top aide to corruption-accused former Homeland Security boss Kristi Noem and her chief adviser deleted nearly 30 secret Signal chats on the same day he left the Trump administration, according to court documents reviewed by PunchUp.
At the time, Noem, 54, and her rumored lover Corey Lewandowski, 52, were engulfed in a fast-spreading scandal over the questionable way contracts were awarded on their watch at DHS.
Joseph Guy, the DHS’s former deputy chief of staff, erased nearly 30 FEMA-related Signal group chats—with 20 participants, including Noem and Lewandowski, sources have told me—from his personal phone at the end of April. He was at that point working with Noem in her “Shield of the Americas” role at the State Department, which I previously reported Donald Trump, 80, had created to keep her from running for the Senate.
